Fashion retail business the Zara way

With consumers holding back in spending and not much discretionary income to spare,  most U.S. apparel retailers are having a tough time with stale inventory (By itself a problem, slow-moving inventory in fashion is even more dangerous.)

The model of logistics coming from Spain’s apparel giant Inditex and its Zara chain seem to be in the right track by managing their lines of clothing with precision and sometimes, bold moves in directions rarely explored in the fashion retail industry.
